Olavinlinna&#8217;s internationally renowned tradition, the Opera Festival, was started in the summer of 1912 by opera singer Aino Ackt\u00e9. Aino Ackt\u00e9 knew her worth and appreciated quality, and Wanha Kasino was one of her favorite places.<\/p>\n<p>Ode to Lake Saimaa surprise menu, served in the stunning historical setting of Restaurant Wanha Kasino, is a tribute to the region\u2019s finest ingredients and rich culinary heritage.
